Don’t ask me the reason why

Like a sand in the hourglass,
With memories as green as morning grass,
My childhood passed me by,
Don’t ask me the reason why.

Into that small mind of mine,
Scenario of this competitive world
Was fed to race against time,
That made my adolescence whirled.

The memories like dry leaf
Started falling from the tree
As the autumn of maturity peep
With an aim to be established and free

When manhood will knock the door,
With an opportunity to be man
The last leaf will fall on the floor
As I will start making journey ahead plan

Having experienced this bitterness
Of missing the days with all sweetness
My childhood passed me by,
Don’t ask me the reason why.
